Booker has to handle his first year or two in the Senate very carefully. If Hillary doesn't run he might join the herd but if she does, he would be wise to be a loyal soldier in the cause and wait for a better chance later.

I've watched Booker in New Jersey for a few years. Ran, at best, a lackluster campaign for the senate and has few serious positions other than the obvious ones for a New Jersey Dem senator.

I have no idea how he'll play on the national stage but would be surprised if he's ready for anything at that level by 2016. If he does take a shot at a vp nod, it will be as the moderate counterpart to someone to his left. And there is lots of room to his left.

Big disappointment so far.

I think Booker himself would realize that following Obama immediately might be somewhat of a stretch in America. If Obama has proven anything, it's that a lot of racism still exists in this country.
