What I am saying is that the UNIX based systems will be a past and that will hurt Sunw . AAPL used to have a head to head competition with MSFT, and AAPL is down.
Now ORCL, and the next will be SUNW. I won't be surprised sunw issue a warning on its
earning at all. We also saw the news released from CPQ, DELL that more and more NT based workstations were sold in the past couple of quarters, which means less seats for
ORCL UNIX based database softwares and more competitors from the NT sides.
I still remember when AAPL went down from $50 to $40s , people thought it was good buy, then crashed to $20s, people still thought it was a good buy, and then to $14 !!! That is what happening to ORCL now. I would not bit on a losing cat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! from $23 to $15 you still have 40% to lose before it is settled.
