Earnings report a beat on EPS and a miss on revenue (I think somewhat due to the government shutdown) plus a huge buyback announced again.

finance.yahoo.com

Tomorrow is a great time to sell a put - just give the morning some time for all the spin to get put out.

I had hoped this watershed would hit tomorrow.

2 % growth and your biggest cutomer was on lock down for 1/3 of the qurter - that can be caught up on next qurater.

I bought back my csco jan 2015 17 and will try to sell Jan 2015's tomorrow after the open.

AH down 1.03 to 22.96.

The MM will keep it below the 23. strike price for the rest of the week I think/hope.

Good trading to all !!

Bob

Gap fulfilled and then some at 21.00.

I don't think the market reaction is all that justified.

I would prefer to see them increase the dividend vs the billions in buyback stock.

Amat, and intc have proven that increasing the dividend supports the stock price.
