Stuck my neck out at $23.125. Bought 500. Volume is too big for there not to be a rebound.

True, if they come up with money to cover. If you were sitting at 50% equity you just got smacked today 30%, now you have to come up with 10% equity.

That could range from hundreds to thousands for some. An investor who bought 1000 shares of ORCL on margin yesterday at 50% equity and used $16000 to buy $32000 worth of stock just lost $10K. They have to come up with $3000 (I believe, haven't done the math) to go back to 30% equity.

What could someone do? Sell or cover you margin

And, also for the $22/$28 vaule for the stock.
as a lazy daytrader,( west cost traders have to get up at 6:am for the NY market. Some days I do get up at 6:am "NOT" OK.... but I do trade
everyday.I use several critera for daytrading. BID/OFFER SIZE, HISTORICAL PRICING, VOLUME,LAST TRADE,ECT.( And pure instincts )
IT TAKES ME ABOUT 5 MIN TO DECIDED ON A BUY /SELL I bought ORCL TODAY AT 22.6250 around 2:55pm looking for a dead cat bounce today.rgds RF.
