NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- Barclays recommended shorting 10-year Treasury 10_YEAR +0.44% notes with a target yield of 2.75%. Treasury yields have fallen in recent sessions as participants anticipate that a slowing economy will delay the pace of Federal Reserve actions to normalize interest rates; the benchmark notes yielded 2.49% Thursday morning. "We think the market is being too sanguine about the pace of policy normalization and risks are skewed towards higher rates," said strategists Anshul Pradhan and Vivek Shukla in a note late Wednesday.
