Sal, About the performance issues....Are you sure about those results? They seem kinda hard to believe.

The amazing thing to me is AAPL (MOT) will come out with a new whiz bang CPU that is faster (in terms of MHZ) than a Pentuim or K6 or whatever and they go around touting their marvelous computer id faster than pentiums. I have to laugh because thier is a lot more to computers than just the CPU speed.

An example: I'm currently using a $20,000 CAD tool under Win95 or NT (NT at home) and have also used Macs for CAD since the Mac II came out. The CAD tool under Windows takes advantage (and I do mean advantge) of not two, but a three button mouse! I could go on all night about the capabilites and hence the productivity the three mouse buttons provide me. With simple right and middle burtton mouse clicks I can do things that you have no choice but to pull down menus using a Mac. To put this another way I am about twice as productive in certain areas using CAD tools under Windows or Unix than I am using a Mac.
