Yeah telecom's are stupid.

Hold on to your socks this is just the beginning of some serious aquisition into the next few years. Nokia just isn't wireless. Niether is Ericsson, Siemens, Alcatel, NT, or LU.

I was under the impression that IETF(the internet engg task force) was evaluating proposals from Ipsilon, Cisco and others for broadband switching of IP networks. But IMHO if Nokia is able to integrate IP switching of data into its wireless networks that could give it an advantage. I don't how this will all fit into UMT-2000 or the 3rd generation (wcdma...) n/w
