This has the potential to become a very serious problem, very quickly. We've got millions of people who have now lost their coverage and there are very serious doubts about them being able to get new coverage to replace it. You can't just tell insurance companies, "Old Ted didn't enroll in time, but you're going to need to pay his claim anyway." That is not going to happen. Yeah, it will probably lead to a Great Recession where there will be food lines everywhere and the unemployment rate will be over 11%. Oh wait............Rs have already done that. Never mind.
