Bush broke our economy badly, MM, right when globalization was kicking in, taking all the jobs. What would the REPUBLICAN solution be? Let people starve and die?

Any lingering doubts about the deficiencies of Obamanomics can be dispelled with one piece of data: The U.S. has spent $3.7 trillion on welfare in the past five years, with virtually nothing to show for it.

When an article begins with terms like "Obamanomics" you have to immediately steel yourself for a partisan rant. This article is another example. What "Obamanomics"? The man has been stymied by congress in every imaginable way. After the stimulus act, which went as long as the first term of his democratic congress, what exactly has republican congress allowed or pursued relative to "economic recovery" that one could reasonably refer to as "Obamanomics"?
