<so MS can't take me for a ride once they eliminate the competition and jack up the prices for their bloatware.> Take a look at every category that MSFT dominated, they have dropped prices, annualy like a hot potato - with or without competition. They don't make money by increasing margins, they make money by increasing market share (to the dismay of thier competitors), which is the reason they must continuously expand into new markets at such a rapid clip. You must pay attention in history class!!!
