Trey

Cycads to save MU!(cycads are trees) I'm watching animal planet, and to catch the poachers stealing the trees, they are injecting microstamps into the trees. Then they can prove the origin of of the tree in court by the code on the chip. I knew there would be a use for that technology.

Do you follow the DRAM prices on achilles? They quote 16 Mb parts at $3.10. On another site I'm finding three companies selling 32 MB simms for under $50. I guess everyone is lossing.-g- If 32 MB simms are selling for under $50 then that 3.10 number is too high. That would make the parts to build a 32 MB simm, worth more than the simm?-g-

Maybee it's that "lossing money on every part, but making it up in volume!" thing.-g-
