Jim is an average New Yorker living a peaceful life with a well paying job and a loving family. Suddenly, everything changes when the economy crashes causing Jim to lose everything

Looks like an interesting movie.. Surprised there wasn't more violence in the real ground zero housing bust markets where the economy and housing prices collapsed over a 3 year period to a much greater extent than even the stock market crash. Unlike NYC which bounced back fast we went down for the count and in some places are just starting to recover a bit almost seven years after the downturn started. Perhaps we will get that lifetime movie set in Ft Myers or Phoenix.

I am with MM pissed off none of the bastards got put away like the thousands in the aftermath of the S&L crisis. Unlike MM I place little blame on the current president but on the total control the plutocrats have on both parties and the safeguards they put in place to make themselves bulletproof.. So what we were left with is tons of low level mortgage brokers and real estate agents either paying a penalty or getting their license revoked instead
