re: More clutter

Yeah, it's more clutter.

But, it's not ALL bad.

I mean, c'mon ... cut 'em some slack.

Let's look at it this way ....

Ooops. My short and to-the-point response scrolled off the screen.

Never mind.

Sure is a pretty day.

They do have to pay the bills.

I don't think if mind unless:
- the ads are animated or flashing
- the ads have some stupidest sound component
- the ads have some pop up.

Otherwise I'd like to see SI stay in business...

It's not like cable who has a paid subsciber base so they don't need commercials.

Oh wait.

Just perfect eh, another slice of useful screen space taken up by some silly redundancy ... it's three and three-eighths of page used up on my screen before the body of your post, all that navigation could be done in one inch tops, easy ... must be difficult on tablet or phone, this one is 22in corner to corner, room to spare, you're just left with the depressing inelegance of it all ... and Coffee Shop gone, hmm, well it wasn't caffeine you suspected anyway eh, judging from the fuzzy people who replaced the SI folk, lol

Very good feature the ability to rescind a reco you hit by mistake, though <-- trying to end post here with some measure of hope ...
