There is no commercial on CNBC more obnoxious than the one for the Tangible Assets Gallery with that Doug "Mr. People's Court" Llewellen guy on it talking about rare U.S. coins and how they beat the S&P. I want to SCREAM every time I hear it. BTW, I guess the latest comments on Kate must be a guy thing. I watch CNBC for awhile nearly every a.m. I'm not even sure who you're talking about, guys! Just a comment from the distaff side. mph

How about the one that offers us a 2nd mortgage to jump on a hot stock or join a country club? Does Augusta National have any openings? I might go down for a couple nights at the Eisenhower Cottage and give it a look see.

The Ameritrade guy is the biggest Costanza, but the biggest dweeb is still Grodin. Does that guy do any research or preparation for his show or is sycophantic menschiness enough of a qualification to host an issue-oriented forum?

Grodin, though, is not the MOST sycophantic. That honor would go to David Faber who gave his boss Jack Welch the biggest quasihomoerotic suck-up interview (even complimented his looks) I have ever seen. Not too many weeks later he had his own show, Bull Session.

Now the rundown on CNBC personality futures.

KBOHN - April Kate Bohner futures are sharply up. She'll have her own sitcom on NBC by then, replacing Jenny McCarthy.

BGRIF - Jan Bill Griffith futures are down. He'll give in and just attacks Kate right there on the air, then getting himself fired.
The all male jury in the sexual harassment trial, however, refuses to find him liable.

MBART - April Maria futures are up slightly. The stock is already richly valued.

DFABR - Sept. Faber futures are down as his show will be cancelled by then.

BFRAN - Dec. Bruce Francis futures are up since noone knows what the hell is going on in techs and CNBC will provide endless information that noone will know what to do with.

JRODG - Kentuckian Bowtie April futures are down as he finally drives his motorcycle over a cliff despondent and completely worthless after all of his predictions about natural resources fail for the seventh straight year.
