There's more than one way to move us towards socialism. This is a big step in that direction.

Said one Californian, who will see her health insurance premium go up from $98 to at least $238 a month:

Something to keep in mind, though we can't tell whether or not it's the case here. It's coming up a lot. That $238 is very likely before she finds out what her subsidy would be, which could be 75% or more. I'd imagine that if $238 a month is a lot for her, then she's probably eligible for the a subsidy.

Additionally, that $238/month plan is probably significantly better than the $98/month one.

Maybe it would help if I actually posted the link: Some health insurance gets pricier as Obamacare rolls out

There is so much truth out there, it wouldn't take much for it to see the light of day.

After Obamacare was passed, my premiums and deductible at work was raised almost immediately.

As with communists, the end justifies the means....

"People could have kept their cheaper, bad coverage, and those people wouldn't have been part of the common risk pool," Lee said. "We are better off all being in this together. We are transforming the individual market and making it better."

When we all have $4000 a month apartments like Z or 5000sq ft houses like Al, I'll buy the "we're all better off together" BS...
