Ok, so who's painting the tape? -g- It is beyond my abilities to explain the trading ranges we are seeing. Who took me up on the 1 7/8 trade cancellation bet from Friday? Looks like a 99-cents quarter pounder w/cheese will cover it!!

One thing for certain, the (probable) impending action by the NASD to drop non-reporting bulletin board companies to the pinks can't do us too much additional harm, huh? --end of GRNO relevant comments--

Visionary work on the part of those somewhat-less-than fraudulent BB companies who have chosen to voluntarily report what they refer to as financials. Will be interesting to see the details when a decision is made. What will the criteria be? Any exemptions? Unaudited reports accepted? Or audited by whom? What are the criteria for reinstatement if/when dropped? What if every BB company that has never reported (or not in a consistantly timely way) floods the SEC with their latest 8Ks or 10whatevers to avoid demotion? That would be a hoot. And boy, wouldn't you loathe to be the clerk in charge of 15c2-11 filings at the NASD or at your friendly neighborhood MM house? Too bad most are not shortable by mere mortals, cause it seems to me we will eventually hear that giant sucking sound ole H. Ross spoke of as it applies to capital leaving the BB market.

I happen to applaud the NASD for considering this action. Although it won't necessarily stop the scams from being perpetrated, at least the visibility (pinks versus BB) and liquidity will be lessened and fewer investors will be exposed to them. A bunch of folks are gonna have sticker shock when they are no longer able to readily access quotes on their (formerly) favorite BB stocks. Awareness of the new rules alone will cause many to avoid those companies unwilling to lay their financial cards on the table. The NASD should have moved on this a way-long time ago.

I am certainly not going to be accused of being the "answer" man, huh??? Questions, questions. Never saw a question I didn't like.
