There is a sickness in the urban black culture. But it is not a sickness that is exclusive to blacks. That victimhood personality thing can be found in every family. Characteristics of individuals can be found in groups as well. Nature is scalable. And the way you deal with it in individuals is the way you deal with it with groups.

I remember 35 years ago or so when a teacher judged me by my step brother's actions. My step siblings were not the most upstanding kids (or adults). And they have some of the exact same characteristics that you would associate with the black culture. I did my best to reject that sense of victimhood. And as a result, I did something with my life. They didn't.

It was wrong for that teacher to judge me by my brother's actions. But it would have been fair to say that there was something unhealthy in the household (my step mother was a bit of a psycho, but I also had the influence of my mother to offset that).

It is wrong to judge a whole race, even if there is a very large portion of it that is guilty of the behavior. It's the culture that is sick.
