I think when they do that they should have their mics shut down until, if ever, they decide to answer the questions.

......yes.......exactly...........have the interviewer cut off the mic......give the person one warning and then cut him/her off permanently if they do not answer direct questions. A lot of these talking heads would never be on air again.......at no loss for most

All of those talking heads never answer questions and use the time spitting out every talking point.
