    No, you don't get it. You tell yourself a bunch of baloney that makes you feel good about yourself because you're liberal.

    Modern Anglo-American culture has liberals and conservatives, but I'm not sure other cultures do or at least not all other cultures. I think in places like SA, the divisions are between westernizers and non-westernizers. And between one tribe or group of tribes versus another or between one sect vs another.

    In the west, the revolutionaries are mostly of the left who want to force some new type of culture that never existed on society. Whereas in the Muslim world, the revolutionaries are mostly people who want to go BACK to a purer 7th century version of Islamic society.
