Yes, we dems want health care for everyone like every other western democracy has except us. 86% of people in Canada like their health care system. It is shameful that something like 80 million people have no health care. Everyone needs health care and it seems to work best to have government help with that. Half my friends have been saved a crippling old age by medicare paying for hip and knee replacements and cancer treatment. On top of not having health care ours is the most expensive and we have terrible outcomes as a society. You guys seem to think everything is fine without universal health care; and you fought the New Deal, social security, medicare and Medicaid. Social security pulled millions of old people out of abject poverty. Doesn't that count for something? Good lord. Where is you compassion for other people?
