Having been to SA myself....anyone who makes a comparison between SA "conservatives" and US conservatives is about as ignorant as they come and has not a clue about what they are spouting....(which is to say its a typical koan post).

They can be better. We just got rid of slavery, segregation, gave women the vote and are still working on gay rights. We have more people in jail than any other country by far.

We are violent and backward in relation to other western Democracies.

Liberal countries are Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, New Zealand, Australia and much of Europe.
