Well, yes, I am preparing for Saturnalia. So far I am doing this by wearing a very bright red Santa hat, in which I look festive, to say the least. I wear it everywhere, except to parent interviews for admission to private high schools, of course. I need to get offline long enough to sew a huge bell on it, though!!! I hope you are not going to disappoint any small children!! Oh, I do have a funny Santa story, incidentally. My daughter presented us with a huge Christmas list, which included a gold and ruby pendant, totally redecorating her room, AND a fleece pull-over from the Old Navy Store. I'm sure there is no one in America is not familiar with these, from their ad campaign. Anyway, we said yes to quite a bit of it, as she has been a very good and unspoiled girl all year, but since she has many coats, jackets, windbreakers and sweatshirts, all Fila or 49'ers or something else that made them very expensive to buy, we told her we were NOT getting another one of those. In two months it will be spring here, and it would end up in the corner of her closet. Anyway, later I did ask Briana, who is fourteen but seems to still believe in Santa Claus, if he was coming again this year. And she said, oh, yes, mommy, and he is bringing me FLEECE!!!!!!! Are you going to be Santa for anyone, Freddy?
