Allex, when the bubble begins to lose air - everyone is a genius!! That is way too late. The idea that housing can be turned off and on again by some whim is ridiculous. When the bubble expands to the point it is leaking air - all the damage has already been done. The collapse is nothing but the end result of misguided stupid policies. Policies that Krugman pushed at the exact worst moment. ...........You do know his ideas were even too extreme for Obama don't you?
