So you'd be a conservative if you could impose liberalism? Thought so. You also think this is primitive: ... people to keep more of what they made, provide for themselves instead of relying on society aka the government, educate their kids at home, worshipping God, teaching their children to pray at meal and bedtime, telling them you hope they grow up to marry and stay faithful to their spouse? Being modern for a progressive means being Godless and faithless (not just to God but to your family) and dependent on government to take care of you and teaching your kids to be the same. ---------------------------------- If American liberals could change our society the way they want, would they then want to conserve those gains? A tiny military, free health care for all, free education from 18 mos through PhD's for everyone, no drug laws, no free food for everyone, free housing for everyone, free love of whoever group of persons of whatever gender you want, everyone working without minding most of their income goes to taxes ... sharing all the weatlh and no religion too as in Lennon's Imagine. Would you become a conservative? Or would you be a reformer who wanted people to keep more of what they made, provide for themselves instead of relying on society aka the government, educate their kids at home, worshipping God, teaching their children to pray at meal and bedtime, telling them you hope they grow up to marry and stay faithful to their spouse?
