There may be two reasons why the USA still has some vestiges of freedom(?) left. 1.We continue to support Israel(although I doubt our true intentions). 2.There is a base of Christians in this country that actually do reach out and help those brothers & sisters in need throughout the world. The number of countries where this would be possible is limited. Voice of the Martyrs is one example. We should not be so high and mighty as to think this country is special or has some "blessing" that lifts us above others. I am sure on the judgement day that the far greater number of well rewarded believers will be from countries where they have suffered more. Won't we be shocked...although I wonder if many who think they are headed to heaven will actually get there...
