As I predicted OC-3 (155 Mbps) module for FR-to-ATM switch is finally announced. This module should fuel tremendous upgrade from ISP and telco. Before this announcement, 45 Mbps is the highest speed FR switch by any vendor. I am glad that ASND comes out w/ 155 Mbps FR switch first. ASCEND COMM INC executives are "comfortable" with Wall Street analyst earnings forecasts for the 4Q, the company's finance chief said. Wall Street expects the company to earn $0.24 a share for the 4Q, according to a recent analyst survey by Zacks Investment Research.
