Dwight:

IMO the tax selling for those holding from June 96 at $30-40 would have occurred last December. Everyone who bought IOM this year(expect for the last week or so) is showing a profit. It wouldnt behoove anyone to sell the last half of December and pay Uncle Sam his cut.

But tax reasons shouldn't be the reason to sell stock(at least that is what someone once told me :))

Dwight: <<Any thoughts on whether we have any tax related selling going on here?>> I think what happened is that everything that is attached to a computer, inside a computer, and the computer itself was taken out and shot today. Peripherals too. We need some happy talk tomorrow about Asia from some of these companies, preferably on CNBC. Maybe Messrs. Dell and/or Pfeiffer will oblige (they always have in the past).
