Actually it is the REPUBLICANS who have misjudged the tea party… knowing that they are "regular Americans" that don't like what is going on in Washington they have give the most wacky of them great latitude… and it is now ensuring Democratic victories in upcoming elections. Most republicans were NOT WILLING… and were TOO SPINELESS to step up and call out outrageous actions and statements by the crazy elements in the movement. This created the perception that they are all that way… too bad, but in todays 60 second media world anyone could see THAT coming. DAK
