Brian,

Thank you for pointing out the 52-week and yearly return so far is around 20% still (Intel) despite the following "disastrous" events:

- K6 from AMD
- Whatever from Cyrix
- One P-II and Two P/MMX errata
- Flat Q2 and Q3 earnings and revenues
- Many analysts' downgrades and manipulation
- Asian financial crisis

Gee, is 20% not impressive enough for you?

John.

<Since we have many of our Intel friends visitng our thread :- Notice how Intel's profit margins have dropped since K6 was announced>

How sad it is that you must take solice in the fact that Intel's margins have dropped. They are still making a ton of money, and AMD and Cyrix are still losing. Is this really something to brag about?
It's like beating up someones fist with your face. Perhaps this makes you the ultimate optimist.
