I'm long at 22.25...watched it all the way from 17. (I've got to learn to be more decisive.) It does unnerve me a bit that CYMI is in a news blackout mode, and I'm probably watching the action too much.
I feel the company's product is probably appropriate for the market now and in the next few years, but I also remember SyQuest vs IOM. A gorilla market share puts you in sleep mode. Is anyone looking for a competitor in the woodpile, or do we all agree that a competetive technology for today doesn't exist, and that a technology for tomorrow is being R&D'd at Cymer, as well as elsewhere, and that the outcome is a crapshoot ATT. What I'm trying to develop with this line is a shift from the daily micro picture to a wider industry screen. Do any of you care to comment? Chaz. Penguin joke was clever.

Style - The market right now isn't trading on fundamentals and potential. It's trading on tax selling, Asian market fears, mutual fund portfolio "adjustments", and money managers getting losing positions out of their accounts so their year-end reports look good. Hopefully, this will all be accomplished soon, and we can get back to better market conditions.
