So he has to take the single plan his company is offering???? Obviously an HMO to which his doc doesn't belong. His company could have cut them all loose like IBM did to its retirees......some of us can stay on the plan we had last year thru IBM but I've been working on it all day and it's a frigging nightmare which has absolutely nothing to do with the ACA. Aetna sent me a 180 page booklet written by lawyers ....my major change will be that I will now be on Part D for prescriptions along with the donut hole which I didn't have last year... I can take a cash payment to buy my own policy and at the moment it looks like might be better for me since I can take a poliicy with a free gym membership that I'm paying for now to the tune of about $800/yr. I haven't had to go through any exchange...
