>>>Until ASND can impress the Street with numbers in the next 2 Qs, I don't believe ASND will move up much.<<< Sure it will...it will trade up on *anticipation* of brighter Q's ahead. There is plenty of institutional capital that will be invested based on ASND's future prospects. Then ASND will continue to trend upwards as the institutions and retail investors with your train of thought, and after-the-fact investing, buy into the stock at more expensive levels. You're talking momentum investing...based on past performance seen in two Q's results, ASND will already be on the move. The value investors have been accumulating positions from 22 to 30 for the past couple months -- evident by the block trading we all have been tracking. But highly-conservative and momentum investors/traders who wait on the sidelines for hard numbers, without the foresight of what will happen before-the-fact, are very much needed later on. As the value investors lose interest in ASND, we will need investors such as yourself to carry the flag later on. As for the shorts? I welcome as many shorts as possible into any beaten-down stock I'm in. They're guaranteed buyers and are extremely useful later on...hopefully they are stubborn and hold out as long as possible -- covering at the highest levels possible. I remember from several months ago that you are a fan of PAIR...I posted my long position entry/exit point on that thread back then: in 18, out 26 over a couple months. Lots of nice trades too. Got out when the stock was tired (August, I believe). I bet you that ASND outperforms PAIR with ease in 1998, based on % returns from current price. Style Pts.
