<Why confine it to the US? Why not a global wealth redistribution?> The bottom decile of the USA would suddenly be looking wealthy and would have to transfer their wealth to others less well off. They would not want to have their welfare payments but. Metacomet et al want opm for themselves, not to give to other people. That's why they go on about "our" jobs. Mqurice

I guess we see the video very differently My take is that it is simply a graphic presentation of a situation that has been allowed to develop over time in the US The narrator makes no recommendations for corrective action, nor does he suggest that there is anything untoward in how the situation has developed He does provide evidence that the viewer is free to weigh in light of ones personal ethical, moral, or religious values and react accordingly As we saw the subscriber to the VVV, even as Henry VIII himself would have, reacted with a loud burp Others are more or less sanguine My take is that it is a situation that is seriously flawed for any civilized value system, and is unsustainable as an economic model for the US, and consequently a potential destabilizing factor for the world
