It's not going to be the actual number of people affected that matters in this instance. It's going to be about the perception of deception and competence that is going to reverberate throughout the political realm that is going to carry the day here. I have to say that I was supporter of the AFCA and hoped thats it would succeed, and now feel like the people in charge of implementing either didn't know what they were doing, or if they did, then deliberately misled us on the subject. I hope I am wrong about this, but the evidence to date is not reassuring. I am not going to blame my Democratic Senator for this who is up for re-election next year, but I'm not sure if the rest of the state's electorate is going to so forgiving of the clown act that is unfolding in DC.
