There are far more inexpensive ways to provide medical care to indigents than this wildly dysfunctional, disruptive, convoluted theft of money disguised as the ACA or Obamacare.

>> we are the richest country in the world!

Considering that we are more than 100 Trillion in debt (at the federal level) I would like to see proof that this is a true statement. Can you find another country with debt that approaches that level?

Then Amend the Constitution to provide for it.....otherwise, its not the province of government.

Don,
This is the 21st Century and we are the richest country in the world! And we need to provide basic health care for all of the American people.
While we're at it, let's also give each and every citizen^H^H^H^H^H^H^Hresident (legal or "undocumented") a roof, organic food, and Internet access.

Let's not forget about free kitchen counters, marijuana (for "medical purposes," of course), and door-to-door high-speed rail service.

After all, we are the richest country in the world, so obviously we can afford to buy everything for everyone!

The problem with liberalism is that eventually you run out of other people's money ...
