Alright--we really won't know until they get the bleeping website to work and people have to plunk down their money--or go without coverage. But I would not bet a lot on the success of this plan as it appears to be something different than as it was described as it unfolds.

I think when many young people realize they can buy a bare bones catastrophic plan, that pays less than 60% of the cost of coverage ( offered on the healthcare.gov website in my state ) for VERY low rates, and because the make little, they'll recieve a subsidy even on that, the plans will seem much more reasonable.

The cheapest such plan for an under 50 year old in my state and county is $110.00 a month before any subsides.
