There are some Republicans that have the same agenda as Obama and need to be fought - McCain for example.

I think they've tried... but the R of the right have gone too far and have lost the "normal" republicans... if the wacky wing keeps making strange statements about rape (abortion), Obama's birth (suddenly Cruz being born in Canada is fine?? LOL), and stealing elections, then "real republicans" will keep distancing themselves out of (obviously) self preservation. AND rightly so... they can make no changes if the appear so strange that they can't get elected.
