OSO that's the argument that bodes well for the long term. But this is a Japanese problem. And has been a Japanese problem for years (even though article hints it as only being a post 1994-1995 event). You may have a point about the Koreans but those guys are not stupid. They might sacrifice other industries if need be but semis are the place to be and with the bailout package things may not be as disastrous as has been indicated. Can't be certain.

BTW see this part:

I think this is good for the back-end companies.

BTW Kawanishi (the person from Toshiba) is the big kahuna of the semiconductor industry there in the Land Of the Rising Sun.
