Hello from a happy cable modem user. - I have been using Roadrunners cable modem for about 6 months now, having used a dial up modem ISP for about 1 year before that. I am convinced that cable modem will become the access means of choice as it becomes available and understood by the mass of internet accessers. AOL will remain a popular access for many people who only want occassional access to the internet and don't want additional monthly charges. @Home, with its contract with TCI, COX, Cablevision, etc, seems as close to a sure thing as a high school prom date. I am not yet an owner of this stock, am looking for an entry closer to 20-21. Am long in TCOMA and TWX for several years, also very happy in CBS. I appreciate the info flow on this thread and hope to become a contributor. Larry
