Art -DSL Digital Subscriber Line is the main tech, A is for Asychronous one of the many flavors. TI is buying Amati for the ADSL patents for use in DSP chips. The chips are needed to make the modems faster than lightning!

Westeguaards posting reminds me of something I happened to read over the weekend...we had been discussing the possiblity of the preferred's dumping stock a couple months back, and I had read that in addition to 144 issued stock, the reg-s stock was also required to be held for 2 years. This might take a little worry out of some heads about a conversion anytime soon?

Anybody else aware of this?
