Bill: Did you have a bad day today? All those invectives over a few simple questions. Quite frankly, I would not make an investment decision based upon your post because I did not completely understand what you wrote - although I got the general gist of it - which is why I responded to it asking the questions I did. Moreover, even if I understood it better, I would probably not have made an investment in any case, largely because most of the money I want to commit at this juncture in the market is committed. I am merely trying to learn more about your thinking and how your indicators work. On the one hand, as you have mentioned in other posts, you are working with the VIX and some other indicators you have been developing. In those other posts you mentioned that you have not received a sell signal yet. On the other hand, today, you indicated that Friday MIGHT be a good time to sell even though the VIX has not given you a sell signal; although it might next week. All a bit confusing for the beginner trying to get a better handle on this type of technical analysis. I am not quite sure what you meant (in CAPS) about doing my homework. If you have some assignment in mind please let me know, and you can give me a multiple choice test at the end. Remember, I am a teacher by profession, so I am quite accustomed to doing my homework. All of this aside, you answered my post well and I thank you. It would have been better without the other comments, however. I do appreciate your willingness to communciate and share your thoughts. Some of us may be a little slower of the uptake. Clinton
