The WSJ is good but it's a different genre, it doesn't compete the Times. imo, the only paper that does is the Washington Post...but it is not the Times. The Times has a huge on line digital web site which contains everything the paper has plus a lot more only possible with digital technology and the internet.. My wife and I do a Times crossword every day......Monday and Tuesday, sometimes Wednesday... but despite paying about 600$ a year for a subscription they now want me to pay for the puzzle.... except for the first two days when I make copies, I get all the rest from their archives....
