right now we have the greatest disparity of wealth ever and it continues to rise

the stock market is at all time highs... the wealthiest are doing better than ever

taxes are the lowest in history

to constantly harp on food stamps as a major problem shows a certain cynical bigoted misplaced focus

food stamps are a drop in the bucket compared to the largesse in so many other areas

and then the fact that the food stamps get spent and go directly back into the economy

you seem to think you have some special perspective... i live in a large urban area so i probably see more of it than you

and since you say you live in an "ag based economy" why aren't you bitching about the billions in farm subsidies (welfare) that people get?
