There is no shortage of ego there, but this present situation does not include his ego. If you were in this stock back in 1990, you will remember that the company was almost lost. If Nippon Electric did not bail them out, Oracle was finished. The stock at that time went from 13 3/4 to about 6...those that toughed it out were VERY well rewarded.
I know, I bought in at 13 3/4, and left for vacation. Even collected $300 for the temporary loss on class action suit.

I have no complaints about Ellison or Oracle.
