I saw Ackerson on CNBC yesterday. Highlights as follows:

Expects year end subs at 1.25M to 1.3M
Expects cash flow positive in latter half of '98
Expects to add 1.2M to 1.5M subs in 1998
Not concerned with ATT in the market although they are a good competitor. ATT's recent moves confirm that NXTL's business plan is the right plan.
Mcaw not involved in day to day ops just strategy, but definitely monitors the situation.
