That was good. I always thought animals were smarter than people gave them credit for. And in our insensitivity we have driven lots of animals nuts, like pacing in zoos, tying up dogs for too long and the worst of the worst shock collars. I see someone using a shock collar and they will get a piece of my mind. All my life I have had to watch people be insensitive to animals. Of course we are also insensitive to humans: e.g. minorities, women and gays. We are not nearly as smart as we think and animals are not nearly as dumb.
