The problem is that is complete bullshit. The new Bronze plans are in fact worse than my old plan for the preventative side (higher costs for the 1'st few visits). What they do add is >2M total coverage (next to worthless), and a bunch of other crap I'll never use. The decrease in deductible is about half the increase in annual premiums. The problem with Mr Chait is he has not bothered himself to actually look at the fine print. Oddly enough some of us who buy are insurance with our own money (as opposed to spending other people's money) actually do pay such attention.
