Christie or Jeb Bush are the ONLY Republicans that COULD get crossover votes.

I forgot Bush in my previous post.

Tea Partiers would vote for ANYBODY other than Hillary Clinton (and they'd vote with enthusiasm).

Independents don't NEED to crossover. They just want a RATIONAL government that doesn't spend itself into oblivion but still offers help to the folks that need it.

McCain isn't a good example and neither is Romney.

In 2008 there was a GROUNDSWELL of support for Obama from people that thought it would be such an historic thing to elect a black man as President. Especially a black man that offered a CHANGE in the political same old. This man would Change politics as we knew it.

Yeah, well that didn't work out. The electorate has grown up a bit since then.

Romney was a lousy candidate because he NEVER really gave any cogent alternatives and he was too easy to portray as the RICH guy that hated everybody that didn't have a broker on call.

The 60% of the voters that are looking for somebody to straighten out this MESS may take very kindly to Mr. Christie.

I may be one of them....
