I'm sorry about this morning. I talked to John about your claim to donate 30%- and while I've no idea whether you do that or not, it probably came across as very aggressive. On the one hand, I don't want to give you the idea I'd ever sponsor a "who's the best on the thread" contest- because there are many ways of being helpful, and of being a good citizen, and I'm very cynical, and I believe very little of what people say- unless I know them off SI. On the other hand, if you actually do what you say, more power to you- I don't want you to think I don't like it when people step up, because I do. I'm sure many people here go above and beyond- but I personally find the people who talk the most do the least, which is why I said what I did. But maybe you're the exception. I hope you are.
