Winnepeg is no great shakes.... Shocking, but the first period ended scoreless. Play was even, but the Bruins had a couple of better chances. Tight checking game. Bruins are playing waiting for the Isles defense to give it up. So far they haven't. Best period of defense I've seen the Isles play this year. Usually they run around like chickens without a head and hand it over for a score. Not an exciting game, but being played close to the vest. Still don' t see Isles winning. Isles usually play fast paced up and down game.

It has been years since I saw the Isles play like this. The Isles ran circles around the Bruins during the second period and took a 3-1. The Isles dominated the period. Out hit the Bruins, out skated the Bruins. Scary. The Isles should only come out strong for the third period and not collapse.
